Nominative Case (Mianownik) - Feminine Singular Nouns

Feminine singular nouns in Nominative Case take the following endings:

	Feminine Singular Nominative Case

Some masculine nouns use feminine endings.

no ending

symbol indicates that there is no ending.

ending usage

The singular Nominative Case form is the dictionary form that you should memorize when you learn a new noun. Most feminine nouns end with

ending.

Some masculine nouns also take the

ending.

To decline them:

use feminine endings in singular number
use masculine endings in plural number

I advise you to learn every noun together with its gender, so that you know which endings to use.
