Nominative Case (Mianownik) - Nouns Endings

The tables below display noun endings in the Nominative Case. Multiple endings are often available for selection.
The - symbol indicates that there is no ending.
Singular number endings

Plural number endings

* A group of masculine nouns has the feminine ending -a in the Nominative Case. To decline these nouns, use:
  • feminine endings for singular number forms
  • masculine endings for plural number forms
** A few neuter nouns end with -ę or -um, for example zwierzę or muzeum. These nouns have irregular declension.
