Dative Case (Celownik) - Masculine Singular Nouns

Masculine singular nouns in Dative Case take the following endings:
Endings-owi-u
Some nouns may have irregularities in their stem when adding an ending.

The -owi ending usage

Use the -owi ending for all nouns apart from a few nouns listed in the next section.

The -u ending usage

There is a group of masculine nouns which instead of the -owi ending, take the -u ending in Dative Case. These nouns must be memorized.
